In short: everything here is general information, not advice. Results come from the numbers you type and the rules for the year you pick, and those rules change. You make your own decisions, so check with a Chartered Accountant or another adviser before you act.
Information, not advice
akdet is a software tool, not an adviser. Nothing on the site — results, documents, examples or articles — is financial, tax, investment, payroll or legal advice. We are not a CA firm, we are not registered with SEBI as an adviser, and we are not a law firm. Using the site or emailing us does not make us your adviser.
You make the decisions
We show results and documents for general purposes. We do not tell you what to do and we do not decide anything for you. What you do with a result or a document is your call, we give no guarantees, and we are not responsible for how it turns out.
Results come from your inputs
Every figure is worked out from the numbers you enter and the year, state and options you choose. Change an input and the answer changes. If an input is wrong, the answer will be wrong too, and the tool has no way of knowing.
So treat results as estimates for planning and comparison, not as a final word on what you owe or what any authority or bank will accept. Small differences from an official statement are normal.
Rules and rates change
We take tax slabs, provident fund and insurance rates and Professional Tax from official sources, but they change with every Budget and with notifications during the year, and Professional Tax differs from state to state. Some entries are marked provisional until a Chartered Accountant has checked them. We cannot promise that what you see today is the latest rule in force.
Investment projections use the rate of return that you assume — that is an input, not a forecast. Markets guarantee nothing, and real returns are affected by fees, taxes and inflation. Loan figures depend on your lender's exact terms; only their sanction letter is authoritative.
Documents you create are yours
Payslips and other documents carry your branding, not ours. The tool lays out what you type; it does not check that a job, a salary or a payment is real. Whoever issues the document is responsible for it, and anyone relying on one — a lender, a landlord, an auditor — should confirm it with the issuer. Making a fake or inflated document to get a loan, visa or credit is fraud and is entirely on you, as our Terms of Use say.
Check before you act
Treat what you see here as a starting point for a conversation with a professional. Before you file a return, run payroll, take a loan or invest, confirm the position with a Chartered Accountant or another licensed adviser. Software can contain errors and pages can go out of date; if you spot something wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
Changes and contact
If this page changes, we update the "Last updated" date at the top. Email hello@akdet.com. akdet is run from Gujarat, India, and Indian law applies. Read this alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
